Privacy Policy

Overview

AIdventures is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information. The data we handle is limited to what is strictly necessary to operate the app.

Device Identifier

To track how many free turns you have used across app reinstalls and data clears, we store an anonymous identifier in Firebase Firestore. This identifier is a one-way SHA-256 hash of your device's Android ID — it cannot be reversed to identify you or your device. It is not linked to any personal information and is used solely as a counter.

AI-Generated Content

AIdventures uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your stories. Each turn, the text of your in-game actions and the story history for that session are sent to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic's API. This data is used only to generate your story and is not stored on our servers. Anthropic's data handling is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details. Purchase status is verified locally through the Google Play Billing library on your device.

Firebase

We use Google Firebase Firestore solely to store the anonymous turn counter described above. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other Firebase service that collects usage or crash data.

No Ads or Tracking

AIdventures contains no advertisements and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. We do not share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. No account creation is required to use the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
